The Future of Falls and Injury Prevention: New and Emerging Technologies

New technologies are changing the way we look at prevention of falls and injuries. From simple wearable devices that detect falls to complex systems that deploy body airbags in case of a fall, this presentation will highlight new and emerging technologies that will have the potential to reduce the burden of falls and related injuries in older adults and possibly make fall related injuries a thing of the past.
