What Happens at a Fall Prevention Mobile Clinic?

Revised_Fall_Prevention_Mobile_Clinic_Feb2014-1Fall-related injuries are among the top health concerns for seniors and aging Canadians.

To encourage fall prevention, Fraser Health’s Fall Prevention Mobile Clinic is pleased to invite seniors to take advantage of a free assessment to discover whether they are at risk of fall-related injury.

The clinic offers a 90-minute consultation with health care professionals and includes balance, strength and vision screening, medication review, and pain assessment.

Following the consultation, participants will receive a report assessing their personal risk level, as well as plan for reducing their risk of fall and fall-related injury. Seniors who are interested in this free consultation are encouraged to ask their doctors or to contact Fraser Health for more information.

For more information about Fraser Health’s Fall Prevention Mobile Clinic please see the brochure. To find out how to register or for more information, please call 604-587-7866.
